Front
man John Paul Keith has picked up the pieces after the demise of his
shoulda-been-big band The Nevers. His new vehicle, Stateside (featuring
Billy Mercer and Brad Pemberton, who are also members of Ryan Adams'
band The Pinkhearts), resembles The Nevers' acclaimed Appalachian mod
with an injection of AC/DC riff rock.
