Here we are driving to Denver, CO after a wonderful day
in Kansas City, MO. Kansas City treated us right with
a beautiful sunshine-filled day. We went sight-seeing,
relaxed and indulged in some delectable ribs from Oklahoma
Joe's Barbecue. Last night we played at Davey's Up Town
where everyone there took great care of us from start
to finish. Kansas City is so beautiful with its wonderful
architecture, blooming tulips and clean streets. Ornate
lights and statues catch my eye everywhere I look, giving
me a real sense of community. If you haven't been there
I recommend you visit!
Anyway, today is a an ugly cloudy day and it's hard to
get out of bed.. What a stark contrast from yesterday's
weather, and with snow to be expected in Denver we prepare
for the long drive. Thank God for the country tunes on
the radio that make us laugh our asses off. Country boys
can survive...spit Beechnut in that dude's eye! God he's
Tuff.
Here the guys can bee seen stealing equipment from an
adjacent room! Quick! Hurry before some one sees us!

First, let me go back and tell you about the past shows
from Oklahoma City to Lawrence KS. So, two Greeks, a German
and Scot walk into a club in Oklahoma City called the
Hi-lo...We were there to play rock 'n roll and the club
was small but that joint packed out quick. I started to
drink some beers to take the edge off. Seeing how I didn't
eat any dinner I got smashed drunk and then surprise...
I get to play drums. The show went well and we sold small
T-shirts to big guys . All in all we had a great time
at the Hi-lo and look forward to playing again.
At the Hi-lo club we went from this
To this!

Thanks Hi-lo! We look fabulous!
Next we hit the ghost town of Lawrence KS. Beautiful
city but my God, where the hell is everyone? Turns out
all the college kids were dancing like chickens down at
the Leftover "are you going to eat that" Salmon
show. We were running behind due to some bass amp problems
but we set up at the Bottleneck and got ready to play.
The sound guy did a great job and we turned that place
upside down for an amazing crowd of 10 people. An indelible
memory was left in my mind of lighters held high in the
air and tumble weeds blowin' by in droves...I could get
use to this! The real upside to Lawrence was our hotel
which was fit for a king and a sub shop called Jimmy John's
which filled my beer-barrel stomach a with fresh sandwich...
yum yum yum come and ya get some! After that we drove
to Kansas City KS. We stayed in a mountain lodge where
we all witnessed JP's sensitive side shine as he fondled
a lonely cat that we named Stanley! It was like watching
a mother bear protecting its cub. Why doesn't he do that
with us?
Glitz Glamor and Greg!

Back to the present, the rain is starting to fall and
more flat farm land passes by my window. I think of all
the good times we have shared and all the lives we have
passed through. With two more weeks to go there is no
telling what will happen! I can't wait to blow it out
in Chicago with out friends Kevy Kev and American Minor.
Tune in next time to catch up on more made-up events and
fake interviews with imaginary people.
